A team full of superwomen and other superheroes traveled to Otis Bison Elementary School to read and entertain the kindergarten through sixth grade students.

The softball team handed out bookmarks to the students and stressed the importance of reading to them. They also interacted with the students by taking selfies with them and asking them questions about their favorite superheroes.

Trevor Rolfs, Barton Athletic Director, emphasizes community service throughout the athletic department.

“Since I became the athletic director in 2011, community service has been something I promote continuously with the coaching staff and athletes," Rolfs said. "Getting involved with the community can be some of the most rewarding times spent here.”
